Klingenburg GmbH - Energy Recovery - Plate heat exchanger for high temperature applications

The industrial applicable heat exchanger in reinforced Klingenburg form.
The heat exchanger can be made from stainless steel by high temperatures or aggressive contents of the return air flow. The exchangers can be built into “ready to fit” casings made of steel, stainless steel or aluminium.
Klingenburg high temperature heat exchangers are applied for the heat recovery in the process industry.
These belong to the group of recooperative heat exchangers.
By means of the heatexchanger, two air currents of differing characteristics (i.e. warm return current and a cold supply current) are forced to flow in opposite directions, parallel to eachother through thin, specially structured plates without any contact between one air current and the other. The energy transfer is caused by the numerous plates present in the heat exchanger.
A mixing of the two air streams will not occur. Consequently, the transfer of humidity, pollution, bacteria and odours is avoided.
